Licensed Chiropractic Technician

Location: Chicago Northwest Suburbs

**Licensed Chiropractic Technician Job Summary:**


As a Licensed Chiropractic Technician, you will work closely with Chiropractic Doctors to provide education and treatment to patients, focusing on preventative and non-invasive care to help them achieve their health goals.

**Responsibilities:**
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic spinal anatomy and body motions.
- Ensure safety during floor and therapy transitions, set-ups, and engage accurate muscle groups.
- Conduct basic therapeutic exercises and passive modalities used in chiropractic care.
- Instruct and guide patients on prescribed home exercises.
- Perform physical performance tests accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in marking x-rays and lines on posture pictures.
- Conduct preliminary history taking at a basic level.
- Provide warm greetings to all patients consistently.
- Participate in learning and sharing case studies and success stories.
- Facilitate patient interaction and maintain a welcoming environment.
- Promote clinic events and engage in activities inside and outside the clinic.
- Follow directions for visit code preparation, cataloging rehab/services in EMR, and maintaining clinic cleanliness.
- Manage phone calls and reschedule visits as needed.
- Process payments accurately and update patient care plans.
- Support internal patient referrals weekly.
- Show high energy, professionalism, and enthusiasm in patient care.
- Receive directions positively and engage respectfully with peers.
- Maintain reliable attendance and minimize emergencies.
- Actively pursue learning activities to advance proficiency in the role.

**Qualifications:**
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- State-sponsored Limited Radiology Certification/X-ray Licensure.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Excellent oral, written, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with iPad and keyboarding.
- Ability to be on your feet for 4-5 hours each shift.
